Tools: local processing

This site's developer tools (JSON formatter, Base64, JWT, regex, UUID, timestamp, NBT editor, video tools) process everything in JavaScript in your browser. No file, text or value you paste or upload into one of these tools is sent to this or any other server — you can confirm this by watching the browser's Network tab, which shows no request going out while a tool runs.

The exception is any tool flagged as server/proxied in the list, because browsers block certain calls without a server in the middle. No published tool is in that condition today; if that changes, the tool page and the homepage warn before anything leaves your browser.

Ads and cookies (Google AdSense)

This site uses Google AdSense to show ads on some pages. AdSense and Google may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to serve ads, including personalized ads based on your browsing on other sites.

If you are accessing from the European Union, the UK or Switzerland, a consent banner appears before any ad cookie is used, and you can opt out of personalization.

You can view, adjust or turn off Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and read how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

The ad code runs on the same page as the tools, but has no access to what you type or paste into them — they are independent, and the ad itself renders inside a sandboxed iframe owned by Google. The resume page and the blog don't load this code at all.

Blog

The blog is server-rendered, ships no JavaScript, and has no user accounts, comments or forms — it doesn't collect any personal data from you beyond the standard logs described below.

Server logs

Like virtually every website, the server automatically records basic information about each request — IP address, browser (user agent) and page requested — used only for operation, troubleshooting and security. These logs are never sold or shared with third parties.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data this site may hold about you (for example, in server logs), under GDPR or Brazil's LGPD (Law 13.709/2018), as applicable. For ads specifically, the most direct channel is Google's own ad settings, linked in the section above.
